I don't think MIA actually has anything against ginger people, it's just more of a joke than if it had been any other 'race' that had been used and would've made it into more of a racial thing, which I don't think is the point.
It's more about genocide and poking fun at it generally, so using a group that it's still a laugh to marginalize is ok I think.
