This is one of the first high street things I spotted online & then seeked out in real life to try on, size up & purchase. This probably puts me about a decade behind everyone else but for some reason I've always found online browsing & shopping browsing seperate. Mainly because I spent last year online browsing without being able to real life shop, and because I think John Lewis has this whole internet shop not killing real shop thing down.

Plus, River Island, who knew? I also got an amazing houndstooth pencil skirt that I've been looking for in vintage shops for the past year or so. It was also made in Britain which is pretty rad, no? They're probably the second brand to change my mind about this year, along with Ted Baker. Maybe my hipster/snobbiness is wearing off. I still can't touch a lot of things without screwing up my face or reeling back in horror. But we're working on it. I can seek out the denim, silk, cotton etc between all the polyester and viscose. & I will dammit!

  5. are we starting a small revolution here? this made in thing is kinda catching on don't you think, seen a few people blogging about it now. good on you finding out this info, made in britain roll on the good times. stripy pants reminds me of the horrors but these are softer and have a 90s vibe about them. i don't have a reference and might be wrong but that's what comes in me head.
