I'm sure you've all heard of Monki before but SERIOUSLY why no online shop? It's killing me inside slightly...just a little bit, that we don't have an equal/alternative here in the UK
Things I want
And is it really wrong that I'm seriously considering asking someone Swedish to go & buy me underwear from Monki if I give them the money?

Also kind of overly obsessed with this Dagmar dress that I saw Susie Bubble wearing last month & haven't actually been able to get out of my head. How heart stoppingly beautiful is it?
Oh & excitement over issue 16 of BFR mag which I did a page for. If you don't know of Barbara Frankie & her wonderful zine & blog already then I suggest you head over & read.
Anyway my dears, having taken on extra time at work to earn some Paris (possibly New York !?@£U$^£) spending money & forcing myself to actually pretend to do some art work over summer, my blogging might be a little sporadic over the next month or so. I'm doing a summer camp in America all of August...hence the possibly New York, but there's no time! Must be back in time for Reading... Anyway why do you care about my summer plans?
I'll set up some scheduled posts & all will be restored in the wonderful internet world.
Summer Love.

i wish i had a personal shopper for COS, just hope they open online soon. do it, if you know someone get it done!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I look at clothes from Monki, I die a little bit inside. Too much goodness that I can never have. I actually contacted a lovely swede about buying clothes from Monki for me if I paid them back, but it didn't work out because she was never able to find the items I wanted in my size at the store. So unfortunate.
ReplyDeleteoooh, incidentally at the exact moment i stumbled on this entry i was about to type an email to my friends telling them i'll have access to monki and other scandinavian goodies in a few weeks so they can order via moi!
ReplyDeleteso i guess this is an offer ;)
Ooh so much to talk about it in this post! Firstly, yes Monki is amazing, LOVE that exclamation mark tee!
ReplyDeleteAlso, Susie's dress is beautiful! The colour, the fabric, the drapeyness! I WANT IT!
My ex boyfriend used to do American summer camp - he loved it, I bet you have a fab time, I'm very jealous ;)
oohh, are you volunteering at Camp America?
ReplyDeleteand I will send you some zines once they're picked up from the printers!
best xx
1) That exclamation mark tee is stupidly cool.
ReplyDelete2) I love that Dagmar dress, even if I know it'd look horrific on me. It's nice to look at
3) I liked your last post! It just felt a bit too personal for me to comment on.
4) I had to look up how to do a fishtail plait on youtube... it's quite easy, but difficult to do tidily (if that makes sense)
And that's the end of a very long comment.

Love that tee with the exclamation mark on. I have a bit of a 'thing' for items of clothing with punctuation on though. It must be my inner nerd coming out or something.
ReplyDeleteAnd I care about your summer plans! What kind of summer camp are you going to?
I was going to do one for my gap year once I get my national life guard award so lemme know if you had fun or not :)
And RE: the comment on my blog about you pretending you and your bf are tourists in London and visiting galleries- I am so jealous!
I literally would people watch outside cafes and parks and galleries (my favourite is the National Gallery) ALL DAY if I lived there. You are so lucky :')
Anyways have a fun summer :D
And I can't believe I have only just found out about scheduled posts until now... How do you DO THAT?
Jess you are a genius.
Adios xx
The Dagmar dress is a dream. And I am embarrassed to say I have never heard of Monki till just now. Probably because I've been completely avoiding anything fashion related since I'm as broke as a beggar and it just reminds me of this fact. But SERIOUSLY, I want everything.
ReplyDeleteAnd congratulations on the anniversary!
love your monki picks, especially the floral blouse & exclamation mark tee. good luck with the saving of money, i'm terrible at saving so i admire anyone who can manage it! america in august sounds great & i hope you make it to new york...will look out for your updates as usual! :)
