Introducing...The Coatigan!
It's a cardigan, coat hybrid and means I can walk around wrapped in a blanket all day without people unnecessarily mistaking me for someone who's homeless.

Also I got these leggings from Blackmilk a couple of months ago and keep meaning to take photos so here you are. How frickin' awesome are these?

& the sad news (possibly) is that I've covered up the equation on my wall with a big ass map, because they were on sale at work (£37 to £1!) & I always wanted to be the kind of person who had a map up on their wall...

Do you likey?

NONOTREALLYYOUWOMBAT

Oh & congratulations to Max & Cat who are engaged after the worst proposal ever

Trying to show you my now totally healed tattoo which looked lovely through the mesh but you can't actually see it too well :( oh well...

Fearne Cotton love. She's now uploading a photo of what she's wearing everyday onto the radio1 website. See them all here. She is awesome.

Finally the new Laura Marling album came out this Monday. 2 weeks in a row where bands I like (scroobius pip last week) and have liked for about 2 years had albums on the "newly released/we recommend" walls. I don't know whether this makes me happy or sad.

But both albums definetely make me happy. So here is Laura Marling with the title track from her new ablum, 'I Speak Because I Can'

"Never rode my bike down to the sea.
Never quite figured out what I believe."

They sentenced me to twenty years of boredom
For trying to change the system from within
I'm coming now, I'm coming to reward them
First we take Manhattan, then we take Berlin

I'm guided by the signal in the heavens
I'm guided by this birthmark on my skin
I'm guided by the beauty of our weapons
First we take Manhattan, then we take Berlin
Photobucket
I'd really like to live beside you, baby
I love your body and your spirit and your clothes
But you see that line there moving through the station?
I told you, I told you, told you, I was one of those

Ah you loved me as a loser, but now you're worried that I just might win
You know the way to stop me, but you don't have the discipline
How many nights I prayed for this, to let my work begin
First we take Manhattan, then we take Berlin
Photobucket
I don't like your fashion business mister
And I don't like these drugs that keep you thin
I don't like what happened to my sister
First we take Manhattan, then we take Berlin

And I thank you for those items that you sent me
The monkey and the plywood violin
I practiced every night, now I'm ready
First we take Manhattan, then we take Berlin

Remember me, I used to live for music
Remember me, I brought your groceries in
Well it's Father's Day and everybody's wounded
First we take Manhattan, then we take Berlin

Song & Lyrics - Kid Harpoon covering Leonard Cohen's, First We Take Manhattan

Presents:
Jessica necklace -
Mark (who watches SATC)
Assorted linen bands - Darcy, Martyn, Owen, Rob, Andy, Heidi & Benny
Nixon watch - My epic brother (yes he is a legend!)
Moonstone ring - the Mockfords
Tattoo - from Jay to me & from me to myself
Moonstone Necklace - my dear mother (better pictures soon)

I also got a stamp of an anotomical heart (long story) from Chris, a wolf slave bracelet/ring from Jesus, a genuine Wedgewood cup & saucer from my sister (plus some vodka) & a Che Guevara DVD again from Jay

The
weekend was more than beautiful. Horisington is a gorgeous (if random) place. Thank you to Heidi & her mum's connections for that. Also thank you for Jay (again) for arriving early-ish on Saturday and not drinking loads on Saturday night so he could do my tattoo on Sunday.

I also decided to share with you I think my favorite song (Laurie, I thought about it). Me & my mum had an argument (ish) because she thinks the Leonard Cohen version is better but I love the randomness of the song & the rawness of Kid Harpoon's voice is adorable to me.

& the photos on the wall behind my head are of Alexander McQueen's collection. Because it made me cry & think more & more. Scribbles, Ink and Thrown Out Pages says it better.

Love Jezebel x x
Oh PS sorry about the hair, trying to curl it before I go into college...

Oh my
Well hasn't the world just gone mental these past few days?
Photobucket
Got my results on Thursday (Physics A, English B, Maths D) with mixed emotions. As in Physics YEAH BABY! English, how can I be upset with a B when everyone around me got U's? But dammit I am! & Maths D...meh (however much I hate that expression

And then Friday was hectic, between getting ready to go to the countryside for my birthday & squeezing in time for pointless tutor & watching Lady Gaga VS Beyonce.
The more said about that the better. Although the whole internet seems to have come to a halt & be talking about absolutely nothing else.
Photobucket
I'll get together a proper birthday post by the end of the week for you all with presents & such. For now I will just say that I'm sad it's pretty much over... Back to work.

But I just needed to sneak in a little plug
The linen bracelet's I pictured below are now up in my etsy store for all the world to see (& hopefully buy!) they are just $5 (or however that translates into £) basically, cheap as.

Find them right HERE
Photobucket
Oh & if you see a charm you want but not on a colour that you do, please let me know. Or if you want a necklace also let me know as I have another order or waxed linen coming through & I would love to know what you want!

Photobucket
And on a final note, today the second album from Scroobius Pip VS Dan Le Sac, 'The Logic of Chance' was released. This caused me to leg it across college green to fopp & back again in my ten minute break in lessons. & it was utterly worth it.

Here's my (so far) favorite track, 'Snob'

WE'VEGOTONECHANCETOBREAKOUTWENEEDITNOW

My mum finally finished the Aran jumper I wanted to buy about 6 months ago. I love her dearly but when we go shopping & I try to something made of wool & she says, "I can make that" I don't think she understands the way my mind is engineered to be like a list.

Me & my friend Rob had an argument about
Asda white chocolate cookies VS Sainsbury's triple chocolate cookies
Resulting in a bi-pass of Photography in favor of cookies at mine instead
Sainsbury's won (& my nail varnish is orange so they had too...)
Photobucket

My room is a mess at the moment. Luckily though my life and brain are not...

FACULTYOFFEARS

She was born on a monday night.
In my head and for my eyes
in a theorem of Pythagoras.
(You) Fall asleep, On the train.
Mr J he, rots your brain.
You're not fun lest you pick up the pace.

Another cold night down on the Mare.
Kissing boys and pretending to care.
That's the faculty of fears.
And if your heart's screaming take me home.
Hail a cab and please turn off your phone.
That's the faculty of fear. Just the faculty of fear.
Photobucket
Drop your scarf in the mud.
Slacker Jacks and coffee mugs.
Is your dorm room a romantic place?
Well, tell me is it?
All the hits and you favourite songs.
Through your cars and down your sarong.
If he's evil then why does he kiss?

Another cold night down on the Mare.
Kissing boys and pretending to care.
That's the faculty of fear. It's the faculty of fears.
And if you heart's screaming take me home.
Hail a cab and please turn off your phone
That's the faculty of fear. Just the faculty of fear.
Photobucket
Don't you feel better staying on your own?
Sometimes it's better in your slutty crone.
Listen to Lucia, a favoured friend.
Pamela sing for me.

Another cold night down on the Mare.
Kissing boys and pretending to care.
That's the faculty of fear. It's the faculty of fears.
And if your heart's screaming take me home.
Hail a cab and please turn off your phone.
That's the faculty of fear.
Just the faculty of fear.

Dev is Lightspeed Champion, formally of Test Iciles. His first album, Falling off the Lavender Bridge was beautiful pop folk. Now he's moved to New York and got a bit more of an edge, I really recommend looking into him if you've never heard it before!

Here's another song from the same album, The Big Guns of Highsmith.
