So I found this written in my college book that me & my friend Jesus apparently wrote the other night... Strange how even when unsober I am still political, it's so ingrained, scary. It actually makes a lot of sense though, maybe more policies should be made of the back of some Jack Daniels.

My English class thought I should send it to him & I quite like that it's written in fat marker pen, like I'm a maniac or something. Also using the Streets to justify drug laws might not go down too well, but how awesome would that be? I think the Arctic Monkeys, "Assuming that all things are equal, who'd want to be men of the people? When there's people like you." Could be used with step 2 & just generally as a mantra. Also I prefer Murdoch-ites to Daily Mail readers. It refocuses the enemy which is always good. Shall I send it?

Feeling political again as it's the vote tomorrow & there's another march later on. My friend voted Lib Dem & so he's been going on every single protest he can, to try & ease his conscience, but every time he rings me to ask where I am. As if he's superior because he's there with all the dicks who are there because of what happened in London, looking for something to do. I'm not saying that's the majority of the people. I'm just saying that I am as angry, if not angrier than most of the people on the marches but 2 in 2 weeks is too much. I cannot miss anymore physics lessons, I'm sorry. But this is at a reasonable time & it makes sense to leave something in those lying Lib Dem minds as they decide the majority of the populations educated future.

The final note on my rant is how they can even think about changing after they made the pledge. If you said something in an interview that got you the job, like that you were Catholic to become a Priest (bad example, I know) but then you admitted that you didn't actually believe in it like you said you did & you thought your congregation were dicks, wouldn't you have to stop being a Priest? How can you justify saying something to get elected & then using "we didn't think we'd get into power" or "we didn't know how bad it was" as an excuse, because that was when got you into power, as a politician you should have principles or you're just proving everyone right. It's ridiculous. We didn't vote for the government we have & those who did, it seems were lied to on the grounds my which they were voting.

Democracy?

You're looking skinny like a model with your eyes all painted black
Just keep going to the bathroom, always say you'll be right back
Well, it takes one to know one, kid, I think you've got it bad
But what's so easy in the evening by the morning's such a drag

Photobucket

I got a flask inside my pocket, we can share it on the train
And if you promise to stay conscious I will try and do the same
We might die from medication, but we sure killed all the pain
But what was normal in the evening by the morning seems insane

Photobucket

And I'm not sure what the trouble was that started all of this
The reasons all have run away, but the feeling never did
It's not something I would recommend, but it is one way to live
Cause what is simple in the moonlight by the morning never is

Going through my own course of therapy at the moment with this song & Bright Eyes on repeat for support.

Thought I'd share this through the medium of lyrics & this lovely Japanese jumper. Almost sold it but it called to me from the sell-on-Ebay-pile & now I'm trying to plan outfits based around exposing a bit of skin above my belly button & below my rip/boob area after seeing this photo of Leighton Meester. In this I can do it if I put my hands in the air...

Not the best look

Trying to delete images off my laptop & tidy up. So expect a fair few photo posts over the next week or so. Beginning with, what I found, was a surprising amount of Chloe Sevigny photographs. How amazing is this chick? Even her films are good, however much everyone hated Brown Bunny I thought it was beautifully tragic & that scene was necessary. She also looks weirdly like one of my closest friends, Eve in those 3rd photos...

"I think I'm pretty schooled as far as the designers go, but I don't study fashion. I don't think it's worth studying... Fashion is just there."

"You get older and stop being such an idealist snob."

"I like to think I'm designing for the alternative girl everywhere. I was just in Shreveport, Louisiana, and I met a group of girls that dressed really cool, and they were just into an alternative sort of lifestyle, and music, and fashion and things, and I think you can find those kids everywhere. It's the kids that are seeking something different from the norm."

So quotable.

Let's get the blogs aesthetic appeal back up after that horrific photo below.

& to my new - I know, I know, I'm late on the bandwagon - obsession with Nicki Minaj. Too easy to dismiss her as a black Lady Gaga, her songs are better than that. She's been outshining radio hip hop stars in featuring roles and on the 22nd November, or Pink Friday, her new album finally came out & it's been on repeat on my Spotify since. It's so good I might actually buy an album for the first time in a few months.

Here's Roman's Revenge feat. Eminem because I'm feeling like a Dungeon Dragon & her English accent is hilarious.

All I want for Christmas is um...any of the above?

Top-bottom, left-right: Allen Ginsberg poetry, Kurt Vonnegut novels, Eeeee Eee Eeee by Tao Lin, The Second Sex by Simone de Beauvoir, Pattern Magic One by Tomoko Nakamichi, Bill Bailey: Dandelion Mind DVD, Pamela Love Anatomic Heart Locket from here(or just an anatomical heart necklace), Rose in Glass Vial Necklace from here, Scissors Paper Rock Necklace from here, Pattern Paper, Pattern Notcher & Pattern Drill all from here.

Can't believe it's December today. Feeling very Christamessy, went shopping yesterday & pretty much got everything for my family (advantage of having a small family) & it's cold & snowy! What do you want for Christmas? Have somehow pushed the fact that I have 2 exams in January but oh well...

CHRISTMAS LOVE.
