UNDERAGE&OVERDRESSEDICAN'TTELLEMAPART

Oh my, how wonderful are these Nixon watches? (available through ASOS)

My mom wanted to get me a lovely delicate vintage watch for my 18th, so we headed to the most amazing vintage jewelry shop in Bristol (in Clifton arcade, for those of you who know Bristol) & there were some lovely ones but we came to the conclusion that I'm not really a watch person. At least not a delicate watch person...

So I've turned my affection onto big ass plastic watches instead. If only they weren't £50 each!

Also lovely people, I decided to create a blog for a zine I started making about 6 months ago (the first issue is up!) & the second issue is almost finished but I'm looking for contributors.

It's called SWEAT and you can find that first issue right here.

If you interested e-mail me: sweat.zine@gmail.com
If
you
- draw
- create
- make
- write
- know
or are generally obsessed with beautiful things

Ok I will stop bombarding you with links to things I'm selling or doing soon. It's just I handed in all my coursework so I have time & am feeling strangely proactive of late.

Happy Sunday

(points for anyone who can tell me what song the below quote is from)

  2. I'm not really a watch person either, though I've discovered I have a slight affinity for thin, simple brown leather watches. I don't use it for time telling so it's okay if they don't work.

Which color did you get in the end??

It is so awesome that you've started your own zine, going to surely email me on it yayyyy.

And the quote is from Holloways - Fit for a Fortnight Lyrics.Ding ding!

Oh yes,I used to use khol pencil for my eyeliner back then for a really long time and I love it. But ever since I've used the fluidline gel liner by Mac,I've stuck to it.
My kohl liner is only for my lower eyeline:)

  9. Hmm... google says why too carissa. In my head it will always be what though. My friend used to think the maccabees song went 'let's get married & take the bus home' when it's 'tick the boxes'. I think her version is cuter though!

Full points to alicia, valencia lia & carissa!

You win an imaginary golden cookie...ooo aah

  10. i have a slightly gaudy, broken gold watch of my dad's that i like to wear for fun sometimes, but the idea of time strapped onto my wrist stresses me out, so i doubt that i'll ever to wear a proper watch, delicate or not.. the consequences of being weird, i guess.
