The first thing of the new year I have my beady eyes out for, is a pair of wide leg trousers. Until now trousers in general have been somewhat of a stumbling block for me, I have one pair of *trousers* which I spent over a year looking for in the perfect shape. Then last week I bought my disco pants, which are basically like the tights I spend my life wearing, but there's been a niggling want for trousers in my life for a while now. But I have peg leg, I have skinny so the logical step is wide leg...
& from a week in Cornwall with my sisters celebrity magazines, I saw the pictures of Blake Lively (see here) in some pink palazzo pants, the seeds were sewn. So now, in light of my new years resolution I will trawl through charity shops & online for the perfect pair of vintage/2nd hand wide leg trousers that aren't too 70s & aren't flared jeans.
Thoughts?
I'm more into skinny pants, these ones remind me too much of my 14's
ReplyDeleteI like the camel pair on the top row as well as the maroon (cord or velvet?) on the last, I just reckon you have to be super skinny to pull them off, so it's not a look for me, personally, but you'd look good in them (:
