Ok this is from the Sartorialist. But GEEZ. I adore everything about this look. I've been leaning more towards shift dresses & shirts & looking...well, like a mum. Interspersed with DMs & straggly hair though, I am still 18. But this women...I mean, god. I love her.
HAIR CUT TIME
Booked in for next Thursday with my sisters hairdresser as apparently she'd 'love to do something more interesting'. I've been pouring over mia farrow/edie sedgewick/jean seberg... But a lot of me thinks I couldn't pull it off. Honestly I just don't know what to do with all this hair!
Or perhaps she'll just shave it... Now wouldn't that be fun?
What do you think?
I reckon you could pull off the pixie! But leave the head shaving to alice dellal ;)
ReplyDeletethankfully (that is a lie, i want one desperately!) there isn't a train station near me, otherwise I'd be off all the time too...

A pixie sounds lovely! Though a shave doesn't sound do bad either...or maybe that's just me so over my hair in this summertime heat.
ReplyDeleteGo for the short hair but leave the shave i think :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I loooooove Mark Ronson's new song too! xxx
ah, i've been considering a jean seberg as well! my hair is pretty short as is, but it lacks a distinct look if you know what i mean, so i kind of want to hack off whatever little length is left and just make it look defined.. can't wait to see what you decide!
ReplyDeletep.s.: not a fan of marina and the diamonds? i loved the song and video for 'hollywood' and went on a downloading binge, but was only half interested.. but the video was too fitting to pass up for a july 4th post, haah
go with the edie cut!
ReplyDeleteI would stay with the long hair! :)
