This is what I was doing on Friday when it was still (sort of) sunny (& yes that is meant to be a barbecue, but as you can tell by my confused expression I wasn't too sure either):
& this is my cat Holly by the way, who I only tend to see in summer. We call her evil cat because she gets these big pupils sometimes that make her look like she could kill you. She's also kind of arrogant, but extremely beautiful so we forgive her...
It's now all gray & rainy so me & the Jayster are off to watch Whatever Works (the new Woody Allen film) & eat nachos at Watershed. Better posts soon, I promise. I know I keep promising but I've been working/covering people/entertaining long distance boyfriends. Ah tis a hard life...
Love love

This outfit is perpetuating my knits obsession in the worst way possible- and I'm loving every minute of it!

Hello there and hello to your beautiful/evil cat!!!
ReplyDeleteSorry ive not got back to you sooner about the man met question, quite a few of my friends are on the embroidery course and they all really love it, but i'm not gonna lie to you, the teachers are quite strict and push you extremely hard, they just wanna get the best out of you.
Apparently its intense but you kinda love it at the same time! did you look around the embroidary work? it was amazing!!
Man met is a really great uni though, i do textile design for Fashion wich is a very wide ranged course with lots of room for experimentation.
The material that you commented about was digitally lazer printed at the facilities at man met.
Hope this is useful info, what other uni's have u been looking at?

Haha loving the little video you have made of your cat :')
ReplyDeleteIt does make her look a little bit evil, but yes she is very beautiful so it must make up for it (I usually hate cats as well but yours does look cool)
Thanks so much for the comment on my blog. If you have found any other options for summery sandals with more feet coverage (I HATE feet as well haha) then be sure to let me know ;)
Loving your photos, fab post as ever
xx
Ooh that dress is a bit good. The colour is great.
ReplyDeleteCAT! Oh I love cats, even the evil ones... in fact... ESPECIALLY the evil ones!
ReplyDeleteEchoing the sentiments above, but yes, excellent dress/shoes combo. xxx
The green dress is wonderful!
