New coat innit. My New Year's Resolution is starting to look a bit sketchy seeing as every time I find myself in a shopping area I end up buying something... usually planned. I headed up to Bath the other day & went into one of my favorite shops, Edinburgh Woollen Mill! One day I will buy a Harris Tweed Deer Stalker & rock it like some rad old man. For now I am satisfied with this gorgeous wool tweed coat, which is one part Crombie, one part zoot suit (in my head) & with my creepers looks pretty sweet.
Feeling all Christmassy trying to think what to get people & (more difficultly) what I actually want. Does anyone else have that stage fright type syndrome at Christmas where there's plenty of shit you've been wanting but you can't remember any of it? It's cold though, which is a good start. & I have a little money for once. & I'm going to Paris! & I need a haircut. & & & there's an & on my arm...
loving the new coat, pretty jealous, been looking for a similar one myself

Nice coat! I looove Edinburgh Woollen Mill's cashmere tartan scarves! Yeah I definitely get that stage fright at Christmas, I literally cannot think of a single thing even though I distinctly remember thinking of numerous things a couple of months ago!
ReplyDeleteI wasn't wearing tights when I went out for drinks in my maxi skirt, but probably would in the daytime - no one would know!
I want this coat so bad
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely coat!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for the nice comment and for following, I followed you back; you've got a great blog! :)

Ooh, Paris! Not a huge fan of the city myself but I do think it's lovely in the wintertime. Oh, and I'm jealous of your coat! Quirky yet timeless :)
ReplyDeleteI was gonna comment on the picture with the white car shirt under this post.. but then I thought that if I commented there you might not see it. Ah, I'm so glad you came across my blog because then I got to see how fantastic yours is. I swear to god, I need that car-shirt, its so fantastic! xx followed!
ReplyDeleteThat is an excellent coat. Definitely worth breaking the new year's resolution for! Oh and I can really see the zoot suit comparison.
ReplyDeleteA spread sheet seems like the solution to all my housing troubles haha. People would mock me a lot but I can live with that.
I'm so excited to be back in Bristol next month! It's like a friend I haven't seen in ages. Though honestly there is a chance I miss Bristol more than my friends... at least I can talk to them. All I can do to stay in touch with Bristol is search the Guardian for anything Bristol-related.
P.S. sorry to hear about your granny and those embroidered ribs are wonderful.
such a lovely coat! i'm the same with trying to think of christmas presents ahah
ReplyDeleteI am obsessed with crystals right now too! They're definitely one of the trends right now...
ReplyDeleteWould love to follow you, will you follow me?:)
