Oh how 90s throw back. Mohair, exposed midrif & short skirt appliqued with sequin hearts. Wore this a couple of days back to sort of waft around post illness getting a surprising amount of my Christmas shopping done & getting nothing done at Staples. This week is going to be a little bit dreadful. Too much to do & although my next day off is not till Friday, I spent yesterday clearing out the loft with my mum & brother. Who knew I had so many teddies/beanie babies?
I'll admit I'm in a bit of a stupor clothing wise, because on one hand I've been dressing for practicality (work, manuel labour, illness) & on the other it all seems a little pointless when you just put a coat over it in the end anyway. But I do have a couple of new things I'm excited about so maybe when I find some much needed down time I can somehow figure it out. Anyone else with me on this?
midrif is the best word ever, and you always look brilliant in these photos no matter what you're wearing!

Totally agree with the coat thing... I sometimes cannot be bothered to dress decently because it'll all be covered with an ugly winter jacket. And since it's so cold here, i cant wear a nice "not too warm" coat... So it all feels so pointless sometimes :/
ReplyDeletei sometimes think that, i don't drive so i have to walk everywhere. and i get wet and windy a hell of a lot so my outfits sort of are depicted by that. fancy shoes aren't going to happen if i'm walking about. in fact i've just bought some new boots, though i'm not 100% on them yet.
ReplyDeletecheers, well as i said i really like what you post and just the way it is really. you seem like my kind of person
Love love love that outfit, but yeah I totally agree about the coat thing

Yeah the 90's! I can't believe they are coming back already! However, I am a fan of mohair sweaters...

Love this outfit! And yes, I'm in pretty much the same situation clothing-wise at the moment.. I've taken to wearing a lot of black, even outside work.
