Tonight I will make the pilgrimage to my friends farm (near where Kate Moss lives appropriately enough) where we will participate in the yearly ritual that is Bonfire night.
Whilst the boys get native & make fire, the girls get drunk, liquid confidence to jump through the fire. Then the boys get drunk & watch the girls chicken out of jumping through it. Then everyone gets hot & clothes start to disappear, the first guy makes it through, pushed by his friends & suddenly everyone's an alpha male.
Luckily my alpha male decided on a spur of the moment Megabus to meet me after the 'event' that was Foals last night (the world is being taken over by cocky 14 year olds that don't know how to mosh/dance/stand up) So I guess we'll push each other through the fire because there's nothing to prove? Oh it all feels so very native.
Stay safe.

Love these photos-i can't wait to smell burning bonfires, i adore it, hehe! xxx

ReplyDeleteI received the magazine, so thank you! I'm saving it to read on a journey somewhere.
I think someone actually stole the little extra gift you put inside it, there was a big tear on the side :( Just out of curiosity, what was it?
I think we missed one another again. It's all getting a little silly really..
ReplyDeleteCould not agree more with the whole crowd of 14 year olds thing. Eugh. But Foals were lovely.
I hope your bonfire night was wonderful.

ReplyDeleteHeh this sounds cray cray. I agree about escalators, not only are they uncomfortable but people are always speed walking up them.
